  • General Summary Of Duties: Perform testing in high-complexity, accredited physician office laboratory. Assist laboratory manager with quality assurance monitoring, including coordinate and review proficiency testing, coordinate and review instrument calibration verifications, review and monitor quality control testing, some supervision of testing staff. Calibrate, maintain and trouble shoot laboratory instrumentation. Use laboratory information system to report results and monitor pending testing.     Five years experience as laboratory technologist. Supervisors license preferred.

    Associates or Bachelors degree in laboratory science required.
    Florida Technician or Technologist license in chemistry, hematology, serology and microbiology required. Licensure in immunohematology a plus.
